Oh look, it’s that thief kid again. He’s just showing up everywhere… Maybe it’s a sign of things to come? *hint, hint* This time he isn’t wearing his bandana.
As you can plainly see, this isn’t exactly a sketchbook sketch, but it is a sketch all the same. It was done with a ballpoint pen while I was trying to jot down some work-related mental notes. (Located on the same page is a barebones outline for the next four or five chapters of Swordmaster Odyssey.)

Fourth of the six generals. Yellow is a very hard color to limit yourself to since there’s only so much you can alter it before it becomes too greenish or too orangish. Her staff is about as half as cool as I imagined it. 🙁
I saw this hairstyle in an old sketch of mine and it looked like it was fun to draw. So I drew it again! He makes a cute little boy, doesn’t he? Of course, that bow on his shirt makes him look an awful lot like a girl. That wasn’t my intention, mind you…
I felt like drawing something different, so I sketched this guy out. I love the post and angle on it. I also like the face that he has beady little eyes and a hook-like nose but still manages to look strong and heroic. It makes him interesting… At least to me. I’ll have to find someplace to use him.

Third of the six generals, he turned out very differently from how I first invisioned him. For the record, his rifle is roughly modeled after a Springfield M1903 (although it looks a bit more like an M1 Garand methinks). I meant for it to have a more “fantasy” feel about it, but in the end it just ended up looking more modern thanks to the fact I could only use shades of green.

One of six generals created for a non-Vision Riders related project. Each of the generals commands a team of a given color, so I went about designing them with a single color in mind. Notice that even his hair is tinted blue!
Not much to look at, I know. Just two sisters I had an idea for a short story about not long ago and never did anything with.
A generic elite trooper. He’s very generic. That’s why you don’t see his face. That way, when there are five of them on screen at once, it’s not as noticable that they all look exactly the same!
